he’s right there is more to it. However I Can recommend you watch Pokemon 3 the movie, it’s Silent Hill FOR KIDS 😀 also it shows the deeper aspects of Pokemon. although the original concept of Pokemon was more of something like fight evil corporations, Pokemon can die, and they were used, and some where not used and are friends.

some pokemon don;t like pokeballs and are not carried in there pokeballs, some like to be outside.

Hahaha I’m sure there is, and I’m sure I’ll come around…eventually. But that is a much better of looking at it as a partnership. It’s just weird that they have to travel in a Pokeball or whatever…then again I do put my cat in a carrier…but it’s a good sized carrier…I guess this is just proof that I tend to over-think things 😉

Point. The thing about Pokemon is that humans and Pokemon are friends. Partners, if you will. They engage in compettive sport (not unlike wrestling or boxing). They just “faint”, and no one ends up dying.

There’s a LOT more to Pokemon than just battling though. Musicals, beauty contests, Pokeathlons……
