**SPOILERS** I saw three possible romances in Frozen. The Ice-loving Kristoff, the Ice Queen Else, the socially-awkward princess Anna striving for more interactions with people, and the neglected (sorta) young prince Hans. I would have thought, matching up the people who seem most suited for each other, but it seems Disney took a new spin, cutting two of the three possible romances.
Ice Queeenx Ice lover: "Oh come on, ice is my life. . ." (Kristoff when asked to remain outside the Ice palace.) Well said. I'm a sucker for romance, but I'm also dead-set loyal.
So this would be my pairings
Elsa and Kristoff: Both loners who don't mind the cold.
Anna and Hans: While Anna strives for more human interaction, Hans is looking for a place of his own, a place he doesn't have to share with 12 other brothers.
And then we have the cute and awkward
Kristoff and Anna. I will not lie, the only forced romance was Elsa and Kristoff, BECAUSE IT DIDN'T HAPPEN.

Anna and Hans were cute, and listening to their duet, I couldn't help but think of all their blue-green eyed ginger babies running around. Both of them were looking for a place in the world, and while Hans went about it the wrong way, they defiantly had intentional. Except the moment they got engaged. Oh, Disney is big on true love, but they'll be darned if they let a romance like that fly out the window without hardly any screening. Hans did truly seem kind (right around when he was in charge), but Disney gave themselves away the moment Elsa refused.

Elsa and Kristoff: This was possible, yet not likely. I feel as though Kristoff is the non-magical male version of Elsa. They would have made a cute couple, both of them broken out of their socially impaired shell by the even more socially impaired Anna.

And Finally, Anna and Kristoff. I think this is. . . quirky? I feel like Disney was trying to transfer the romance between Rapunzel and Flynn over to Frozen. The not-so-prince-charming man, the awkward and bubbly princess, catch my drift? It was cute, I liked how Anna did things her own way, with Kristoff raising an eyebrow like "um, you okay?" (Rapunzel anyone?).

Honestly, Disney could have toyed around with the romance, giving each character another inner-struggle. Sorta how like you can't choose whether you want Castiel or Dean Winchester to be you dream man. I was slightly disappointed with the romance, but this is four 9 year old's, right? I'll leave it be.

Elsa. Come on Disney! You have a character with so much potential and she get's 15-30 minuets of screen play? You can do better! Expand her resign of other's in her isolation (didn't she need to go into town for food? And I didn't see a bed. . .) Elsa could have been developed from a great character to a brilliant one! Get with the program! We don't want to see Rapunzel on Ice, we want the confused Ice Queen who battles with her fears and disciplines. We want to see her struggle against her wants and fears, balancing them out to no avail. Why can't we have it? Because Kristoff and Anna need "love". Couldn't he had be a really great friend, hinting little feelings in the end, and Anna rushing to her sister, not of her own needs, but to comfort her sister's needs?

One last thing Disney. We got it 8 Princesses ago, "Love" conquers. "Love" melts the entire frozen kingdom and thaws a frozen statue. Wasn't Elsa isolating herself out of love and concern for Anna's safety? Disney needs an update. This kids don't need a marriage to satisfy their thirstiness, the need role models who tell them that never fear being you, believe in yourself and you can thaw a frozen heart. Not "find love extremely fast (not too fast cause it'll bit your butt later when he tries to kill you) but fast enough that if you so happen to be poisoned or frozen or your leg rental is running out, you can kiss him to make it better.

I really don't think Anna is going to get any powers. From one of the Rotoscopers' earlier articles they stated this from the co-director: “She doesn’t have any superpowers,” said co-director Jennifer Lee. “But Anna is one of these ordinary people doing an extraordinary thing.”

Also, Harry Potter wasn't the first fictional character to get a scar. haha

Oh my god. Now all I can think about is Harry Potter. So baby Potter gets a scar (and a part of Voldemort/his powers) when he's attacked.
Could we expect some of Elsa's powers to rub off on Anna after the accident? Her finding out about it could be a twist in the climax!

I agree, Kristoff seems WAY more interesting than Hans. Love the character designs and it's nice to see Disney creating a unique "look" for their CGI films (like back in the 90s).

I think Disney has another Tangled hit coming! The images look great. What I love is the costumes of all these characters. Look at the detail of Anna and Elsa's costumes, they are very pretty. The costumes have more detail than the costumes you see in Tangled. I wonder what Kristoff will be like? He does not look like a wise-cracking Flynn Ryder like character. He looks like rugged guy with a serious attitude. He also looks more natural instead of the dashing thief look of Flynn Ryder. Kristoff's face look nice. Also, Alan Tudyk may be becoming the next Eleanor Audley, Verna Felton, David Odgen Stiers etc. in terms of being used in more than one Disney film.

i completely agree with you! i think that the moral of the story will be not to be too quick to judge someone, because of how the town judges elsa because she isn't their idea of "normal" and i really hope the film teaches kids that lesson, specially because of how big bullying is right now!
