Maybe, maybe not. Pixar hasn’t said anything. It seems Disney/Pixar is a bit focused on Planes at the moment. Most likely, we will definitely see the trailer before Planes because it seems that the audiences would definitely overlap (also, Planes is released the same day that D23 starts. So…who knows!)

Well…buy a plane ticket to California. Buy a D23 membership. THEN buy a D23 Expo ticket.

Honestly, I don’t think these changes are sexist at all. I think people like to blow things out of proportion sometimes to make a story where there isn’t one. I do think the story will still focus on the sisters, the fact that they are princesses, etc. Yes, maybe there are some changes in the marketing made to appeal to a broader, more modern audience but that just comes with the territory when you are a billion-dollar corporation. Haha.

I don’t think the female fans need to worry. I think Frozen will be perfectly feminine, yet balanced. I don’t think female fans will feel isolated because ultimately Disney knows that girls/women that will ultimately carry this new franchise after the film is released.

UPDATE: Kristen Bell just did an interview and stated that this movie DOES focus on the sister bond and that it is very key/central to the film. 😀 So that’s good news!

I don’t know how much of the sister’s relationship on which Frozen will focus. I think it’s a huge missed opportunity if they don’t, so for that reason, I do think it will be the focus. Although I haven’t seen the movie, so who knows.

Hi Morgan, as a female though excited for frozen, I cant help but feel sad for the fact that Disney is making their princess movies more action and changing their names to appeal to boys. What about stuff like mermaid and batb? I hope it will focus on the sisters relationship more. Will it?
