I think we may be in a new “renaissance.” The Princess and the Frog, Tangled and Wreck It Ralph did bring back interest with Disney animation. The reason they using the phrase “from the creators who brought you Tangled and Wreck It Ralph” is because those 2 films were Disney Animation’s first blockbuster hits. Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt did only modestly at the box office.

If it sells merchandise, it has a good chance of sticking around longer :) I have a feeling kids today will grow up and look back on the current slate of films the same way today's young adults look at Lion King and Aladdin like you said. And that is an awesome thing.

I wholeheartedly agree! The parks represent the fact that Disney Animation is back to it’s former glory! Can’t wait to see what Frozen adds to the Parks! (Maybe an icy, enchanted area?)

Love the article! I’ve recently noticed this, and its not only at the parks, it is also in the disney stores, what they sell is mostly merchandise from their hits, you will rarely see any Meet the Robinsons, or Fox and the Hound merchandise. Disney is back, and thats awesome! I will miss my childhood of watching Lion King, and Aladdin on VHS but as long as we get great films like these, it wont matter as much!
