The teaser felt a bit silly, but then again, aren’t most teasers for animated movies? It’s probably not very definite of the film’s actual tone. I remember not liking any of the trailers for “Tangled” before the film came out so I don’t expect to feel much differently towards these.

In reply to AteMyHeart. Totally agree about the more serious story arcs. Even though I still like the more lighthearted movies, the emotionally darker ones are those that really get me. I think there's still hope for frozen though because they don't seem very keen on marketing the super dramatic stuff.

So I’m posting this before reading what y’all are saying below to give a true first reaction so if somes repeated forgive me?! 🙂

I was kinda hugely let down by the teaser

I’m not big into comedy anyways preferring the darker serious story arcs (hunchback, pocahontas, etc) so getting a teaser that’s just lol hmmm not really doing it for me

Also the reindeer is a horse like creatureacting like a dog?! Seen this before ala max in tangled

Frozen was gunna be this epic sweeping fantasy adventure with music! I’m still super excited that’s how it’s going to turn out and fingers crossed but I’m more nervous and negative after the teaser than waiting with nothing

Eeeeek please prove me wrong Disney

Jennifer Lee posted on Twitter (reply to A113 Animation) that the full “epic” trailer will be out in a couple of months. I say by August (Planes + D23) we’ll get it.

So psyched!!! Of course I want to see more of Anna/Kristoff/plot details as much as the next person, but I’m still so delighted with this clip. I must address that some people in the Disneyverse are giving these two a lot of grief for being too silly or annoying; but this reminds me of exactly how people felt about Ray when the Princess and the Frog trailer first aired. “But he looks so obnoxious and uninteresting!” Well, gee, we all know what happened when the film came out! Ray turned out to be one of the most sweet, lovable, and good-hearted Disney sidekicks we’d seen in a long time. Of course anything could happen. Maybe Olaf and Sven *will* be an unsatisfactory comedic duo like the nay-sayers are so quick to assume. But come on, people! Have a little faith and maybe you’ll be pleasantly surprised come this November. 🙂

I don’t know if anyone has reported on this yet, and in that case I’m sorry for being late, but Alan Tudyk has just been confirmed to be in this movie! I wasn’t sure if it was true at first, but it looks like Disney has confirmed it.
