I’m with Debbie about the worry that they might try to “modernize” a insightful story with a sense of timelessness and wonder. Definitely not “Shrek” material but I think lately Dreamworks have been able to prove they can do more than slapstick.
Dreamworks Animation can have some fun with the designs of a celestial world and I’d anticipate seeing their concept artwork.

I totally know what you mean Debbie! I’m hoping for the best in that they will do the book justice, or at least try to respect what the book has to offer.

As for the Little Prince’s voice, I don’t know…I’m hoping for a really good unknown person. Someone that is un-identafiable so that we don’t get lost during the movie thinking about their previous work like in Croods, or so many others.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about this. I loved this book when I was a kid and it really resonated with me. This book freaking broke my heart when I read it! I hope they don’t try to modernize it. I wonder who will voice the titular character.
