Wow.No sequel for The Incredibles, Up, Wall-E, or Ratatouille, but a Cars 3 is in the works. I do not mind a Toy .Story 4 because I grew up with their films. A Brave sequel would be great. But a fudging Cars 3 instead of The Incredibles 2? Dude…that is a low blow, Pixar.

I think Pixar has simply entered a new season in their filmmaking. Whereas first they looked down on sequels as cop-outs, now they see the advantages of exploring existing characters on a deeper level that isn’t possible in an original film. I don’t have an inside scoop, but that’s just the way I see it. This is the stage they’re at now–it will come and go just have many stages before it have, and that’s ok.

Bah the question is Is Pixar WORKING on anything but Sequels these days? -___- with a very few exceptions, all they’re doing is sequels…bah, they lost me since Cars 2 and Brave…-____- I’m looking foward for their original projects, besides that, nothing else. They have been a gigantic disappointment to me.

Count me in for wishing “Incredibles 2” will happen. Though (correct me if I’m wrong) Bird said he wouldn’t do a sequel unless it would be well-planned and thought out from start to finish.

I’m trying to think which other Pixar films have sufficent material for a sequel. “Ratatouille” could have a sequel where Remy and Linguini have to compete in an international cooking competition.

Cars 3 would be stupid, i don’t want a second Up, Ratatouille or Brave. And i don’t want a fourth Toy Story. I hope the incredibles!
