I enjoyed the retro-60’s look of “Incredible Me” and this opens a door into the sleek “spy stealth” look of the time with wacky gadgets and wild traps. “The Incredibles” had some of that style too. The idea that the Minions are always looking for a new boss because their bumbling ways cause Master Evil Schemes to flop is an entertaining one. I wonder if Gru did his research before hiring them…
