OH MY WORD!!!! Pablo!!!! I never even thought about that – its gunna be the story of Dory finding herself. Emotional and deep (haa haa pun not intended). I actually an a little teary at the thought. She was so alone . . . . . . goosebumps. Hurry up and release it now!!!!

I really have high hopes for Finding Dory. I feel like this has the potential to be more like Toy Story 2 rather than Cars 2. Pablo is right Cars movies just aren’t as strong of movies as Toy Story, Wall-E, and Nemo. Cars 2 could’ve been a great short but in movie you don’t really care to much what happens to Mater on his spy mission. Dory is really loveable character. I can’t wait for this film!

I’m also thrilled to hear this news. At first I was also a bit suspicious because sequels tend to be a hit or miss. But “Toy Story 2” was great so if Pixar can follow a similar formula for a good story arc in “Finding Dory” then it should be good. I like the idea that she’s got a family because we have no idea what they’re like. Are they cheerful like Dory? Forget things? Paranoid like Marlin?

Another advantage is that “Finding Nemo” takes place in the ocean–there’s an entire world down there and the animators have a chance in “Finding Dory” to introduce new characters and come into new creative scenes. I’d like to see Pixar’s version of Koi fish!

There’s a marshmallow-soft spot in my heart for Jack Frost in “Rise of the Guardians”. He’s been alone for 300 years and has no memories of his past…but he’s still pure of heart and likes to make kids laugh and smile.

Originally I thought that this could fall into Cars 2 territory in which there is too much reliance on the humorous sidekick that it becomes overkill.

…then I realized Dory will be gone for the majority of the film. Haha. (We will probably still get flashes to Dory’s point of view, but still).
