Sometimes they choose the wrong winner purely as a political move so as to say, “See! We’re not just old industry people who are out of touch!”. But that does not mean that the people they choose were THE best in their category that year. Personally, I still think Wreck-It-Ralph had it in the bag. I loved Brave, but as a whole it was lacking.
