Today ABC Audio announced a new podcast “Inside Frozen 2”, a new six-part podcast that will give a fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the worldwide phenomenon Frozen.
The podcast, produced in collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios, is hosted by ABC News Chief Meteorologist Ginger Zee and will debut Wednesday, November 20. The first episode features an interview with Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, composers of the original Frozen and Frozen 2 for which they wrote seven new original songs. In the premiere episode, the Lopezes will pull back the curtain into their create process, explain the evolution of songs from ideation to final cut, and also give us a one-of-a-kind piano performance of new songs, such as “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2.

From “Inside Frozen 2” trailer snippet, the podcast will be incredibly well produced and is the audio equivalent of bonus features typically found on home media releases. It will simultaneously focus on the making of the original film, giving Frozen fans the extra making of content that was missing from the Blu-ray release, while also hyping up and discussing the process of making the sequel Frozen 2.

“Inside Frozen 2” will be available on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Pandora, Spotify, Stitcher, TuneIn and the ABC News app, with new episodes releasing every Wednesday, concluding on Christmas Day. Video versions of each episode will be available on ABC News Digital.
