The panel discussed their processes, their studio differences, and how animated film-making is more complicated than most realize. The process is not simply “draw, color, and release,” but rather includes several re-writes, re-dos, and periods of re-thinking entirely. The panel also discussed balancing audience expectations and corporate expectations through both development and production.
