Most animation fans know that Wes Anderson made his fantastic return to stop motion animation earlier this year with the beautifully crafted and often funny Isle of Dogs. Well, for this weekend, we thought it would be fun to look back at his first stop motion movie, Fantastic Mr. Fox, which was released almost ten years ago.
The movie is based on the book written by the always imaginative Roald Dahl. The film focuses on how the clever Mr. Fox and his family and friends decide to pull off a grand heist by robbing the food of three evil farmers without them even noticing. The only problem is the farmers actually do notice, and what results is a crazy battle with animals trying to find survival while the farmers attempt to dig them out of their home.
Be sure to stay tuned on Monday for the full review.
