The Broadcast Film Critics Association announced nominations for the upcoming 23rd Annual Critics Choice Awards Wednesday morning. Critical and box office darling Coco continues its awards show (and inevitable Oscar) momentum by nabbing two nominations, one for Best Animated Feature and another for Best Song (“Remember Me”, the film’s central song).

Here is the full list of Best Animated Feature nominees:

  • The Breadwinner (Cartoon Saloon)
  • Coco (Disney Pixar)
  • Despicable Me 3 (Illumination Entertainment)
  • The LEGO Batman Movie (Warner Animation Group)
  • Loving Vincent (BreakTru Productions)

Veteran shows dominated on the Television side as six shows were nominated:

  • Archer (FX)
  • Bob’s Burgers (Fox)
  • BoJack Horseman (Netflix)
  • Danger & Eggs (Amazon)
  • Rick and Morty (Adult Swim, Cartoon Network)
  • The Simpsons (Fox)

The ceremony will air live next year on January 11th on The CW from 8:00pm-10:00pm.

What do you think of the nominees? Are you upset that Cars 3 and The Star missed the cut? Sound off in the comments below!
