Mega Drop of ‘My Little Pony: The Movie’ Goodies – Trailer, Title Treatment, & Stills!

Princess Skystar (Kristin Chenoweth) and Queen Novo (Uzo Aduba) in MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE.

It’s your lucky day, everypony! Hasbro and Lionsgate gave us a real treat by releasing quite a few new assets for My Little Pony: The Movie.

Official Trailer

First up, we got the official trailer, which goes into a bit more detail about the plot and the new baddies the Ponyville gang will face. Check it out below!

The trailer features Princess Twilight Sparkle and the Mane 6 on yet another journey to save Equestria; this time it’s against the evil pony Tempest. The animation is a nice upgrade, as it features a bit more shading and definition than we’re used to in the TV series (which is quite good as is).

New Stills

The new film stars our favorite ponies from the series, but also includes an all-star cast with some new characters. We get new royalty with Kristin Chenoweth and Uzo Aduba voicing Princess Skystar and Queen Novo, respectively; Zoe Saldana as a the swashbuckling Captain Celaeno; and Equestria’s pop star Songbird Serenade played by Sia. You can see these new characters and more in the stills below.
