A few weeks back Pixar released a first teaser trailer for its upcoming film The Good Dinosaur. The film went through some production issues, but is back on track with its new director, Peter Sohn. The film is coming out later this year and today we learned that the entire original voice cast has been replaced with new actors.

Disney Insider revealed the entire new voice cast, consisting of 9 actors, of The Good Dinosaur on its blog today.

The film’s main character, Arlo, was originally set to be played by Lucas Neff (Raising Hope), 13-year-old Raymond Ochoa (The Night Shift) will now provide the voice of Arlo in the film.

A new character that originally wasn’t in the film is Buck, Arlo’s older brother. Buck will be played by Marcus Scribner (Blackish). Bill Hader was originally supposed to play Arlo’s brother, Forrest, but this character as well as Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer’s characters have been cut from the movie.

Arlo’s father, Poppa, will be played by Jeffrey Wright (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire). Wright replaces John Lithgow who was originally cast as Poppa. Arlo’s mother, Momma, will be played by Frances McDormand, who was originally cast in this role.

The film will feature three T-Rex characters that we already got to see in the film’s teaser trailer. Nash will be played by AJ Buckley (Justified), Ramsey will be played by Anna Paquin (True Blood) and Sam Elliott (Justified) will voice the toughest T-Rex, Butch. Rescue Dawn’s Steve Zahn has also been cast as a pterodactyl named Thunderclap.

Finally we learned that Jack Bright, who provided some additional voice-work on Monsters University, will play Arlo’s human companion, Spot. Spot is not supposed to talk in the film so his work will probably consist of a lot of grunts.

“We were lucky to work with a number of incredible pros along the way and our story ultimately led us to this amazing and talented group,” director Peter Sohn revealed. “We’re all taking this journey with Arlo, and it’s been a privilege to see these performers bring our characters to life.”

”The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?  Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.”

The Good Dinosaur comes to theaters November 25, 2015.
