Following the nearly 10-year long success of the hit Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series, Mickey and the gang will return to Disney Junior in a brand new series centered around the fast-paced world of racing. Disney Junior has announced Mickey and the Roadster Racers, an all-new show which will take Mickey and friends on thrilling trips around the globe and their hometown of Hot Dog Hills. At the same time, the new series will be value-based and will impart social and emotional lessons to the intended preschool audience, including friendship, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
The new series, slated to premiere in 2017, will feature both CGI animation as well as live-action footage. It will be produced by Walt Disney Television Animation and will feature the same team behind Disney hits such as Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Rob LaDuca as executive producer, Mark Seidenberg as co-executive producer and supervising story editor, and Thomas Hart as story editor.
