‘Frozen’ Directors Host Roundtable Discussion of Oscar Nominated Animated Films

oscar-nominees

If you have ever wanted to learn more about your favorite animated film participating in this year’s Oscar race, you have come to the right place! Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee are back to host this special Oscar feature that focuses specifically on the animated film category.

In this roundtable discussion, each film is introduced and followed by an interview and small discussion with the directors (hosted by Buck and Lee)!  All of the directors are here, even Isao Takahata, director of The Tale of Princess Kaguya, who flew in from Japan (and does not speak English, so an interpreter is present). The video ends with a roundtable discussion including everyone, which is a rare sight to behold! At about two hours, it’s a little long, but it is perfect for those who can’t get enough behind-the-scenes information about these movies!

What did you think of this feature? Did you learn anything new about any of these films?
