Matthew McConaughey Joins 2016 Illumination Entertainment Film

matthew-mcconaughey-academy-awards-oscars

We learned from our friends at ComingSoon that Academy Award winner, Matthew McConaughey has joined the cast of the currently untitled 2016 Illumination Entertainment film.

Not much is known about the animated feature besides the fact that it’s being directed by Garth Jennings (of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fame) and that it will be a musical about “courage, competition, and carrying a tune”. This will be Matthew McConaughey’s second animated film of 2016 after previously being announced that he will lend his voice to the upcoming LAIKA film, Kubo and the Two Strings.

This untitled Illumination Entertainment film will be released in 2016/

What do you think about this mystery film from Illumination Entertainment? What do you think it will be about?
