Several new How to Train Your Dragon 2 clips have been released recently (courtesy of Dreamworks Animation’s new YouTube channel, DreamworksTV).

The first one called “Storm Fly Fetch” gives us our first full bit of dialogue from Eret (Kit Harrington), a dragon trapper who works to capture dragons for the film’s main villain, Drago Bludvist (Djimon Hounsou). It also features a great character moment for Astrid, in addition to some flirty humor from Ruffnut. Check it out:

Another clip called “Baby Dragons”, which debuted just today, showcases the gang (along with Valka and Gobber) riding through an ice cave on the backs of googly-eyed dragon babies. What’s nice about this particular clip is how live-action-esque the shots are, and in a good way. Despite the number of characters/dragons in the   scene, you can tell who’s who and the humor and character interactions are balanced wonderfully. Note how in both clips, stock music from other movies are being used. This appears to indicate that the score is still in the process of being finalized for the film. Watch below:

The third clip, released not by Dreamworks, but by the Dragons fansite Berk’s Grapevine, features a charming, intimate moment between Hiccup and Astrid. And yes, this is the exact same scene shown to President Obama during his tour of Dreamworks Animation. The main difference here is that everything appears to be fully rendered (as it should be, given we are only weeks away from it’s theatrical release). See below:

How to Train Your Dragon 2 hits theaters June 13.
