Recently, DreamWorks and Netflix created a deal in which DreamWorks would create over 300 hours of original programming that Netflix would then be able to stream.
After the creation of Turbo F.A.S.T., which premiered last December, the animation company is now creating three new animated series.
And so, by the end of 2014, we will be seeing three new series on Netflix: King Julien (based on the character from Madagascar), Puss in Boots, and Veggie Tales in the House.
“We are having a ton of fun creating this new content for Netflix,” says Margie Cohn, head of television at DreamWorks Animation. “There is so much richness to be found within each show world and a wealth of comic opportunity to entertain fans of DreamWorks in new and surprising ways.”
