If you still haven’t had enough of everyone’s favorite green ogre after four movies, two specials, a musical, and a spinoff, there is a possibility of seeing that layered monster on the big screen yet again.
Jeffrey Katzeberg, Dreamworks Animation CEO informed Fox Business News of this news last week.
“We like to let them have a little bit of time to rest,” he said about movie franchises. “But I think you can be confident that we’ll have another chapter in the Shrek series. We’re not finished, and more importantly, neither is he.”
This news came about after yet more Shrek-related news was released. London will soon be home to a Shrek attraction entitled Shrek’s Far Far Away Adventure, which will lead you through an “interactive adventure” with the characters from the franchise. Five other Shrek-related attractions will open all over the world spanning the next nine years.
