Frozen fandom, rejoice! Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa in Disney’s mega-hit animated musical Frozen, will be performing the Oscar-nominated song “Let It Go” at the Oscars this March.
Ever since “Let It Go” was nominated for Best Original Song at this year’s Academy Awards, fans have been clamoring for Broadway legend Menzel to perform the song live at the awards ceremony.
Since its release back in November, “Let It Go” has become an anthem of a generation. While the soundtrack album has been certified Gold, meaning sales of over 500,000 copies, the single “Let It Go” has been certified Platinum, denoting sales of one million. Watch the iconic song below:
The Academy Awards ceremony will air live March 2, 2014 on ABC 7PM EST/4PM PST. Disney’s Frozen is nominated for two awards, Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for “Let It Go”.
