Pop singer Demi Lovato recorded a performance of “Let It Go,” Elsa’s song from Frozen, at Disneyland November 9. The song will appear in the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, broadcast December 25 on ABC.
Despite the program seeming to be live on Christmas morning, it’s actually all filmed in advance. Disneyland taped its segments this weekend, and if tradition follows, Walt Disney World will film its portions the first weekend of December. For those interested in production value (and who have a lot of patience), it’s a fun experience.
Lovato performed the song in front of a snow-capped Sleeping Beauty Castle, with the conclusion of the performance including, naturally, snow flurries (in Southern California!). Check local listings for specific air times, as they vary depending on region.
