Last week DreamWorks Animation released 10 new stills of its upcoming animated feature Mr. Peabody & Sherman, but today it released four new posters featuring Mr. Peabody wearing ancient garb.  Also, this Friday we will get our first trailer for the film. It looks like an excited period is coming with a lot new material from this movie.

The first new poster features Mr. Peabody, dressed as a Roman soldier. It perfectly matches the feel and story of the movie because Mr. Peabody creates a time machine, which will allow them to visit a lot different time periods: France during the French  revolution, Egypt during the time of the pharaohs, and after seeing this poster, they will probably also visit Italy during the Roman Empire.

The second poster features Mr. Peabody as a citizen from the old Egypt. We already knew Mr. Peabody and Sherman were going to Egypt from the stills that were released last week, but for a history geek like me it’s just fun to see him in different clothes that are typical for these different time periods.

The movie will feature Mr. Peabody, world’s smartest dog that can talk (voiced by Ty Burrell) and his adopted son Sherman (voiced by Max Charles). When Sherman’s use of his time-traveling WABAC machine causes disastrous (and comical) results, it is up to the duo to put things on track before the space-time continuum is irreparably destroyed.

Mr. Peabody & Sherman opens March 7, 2014.

Which of the five Mr. Peabody posters is your favorite?
