Check Out The ‘Frozen’ Star Wars-themed Crew Shirts

Looks like photos of the crew t-shirts for Disney’s Frozen have made their way online and boy are they fantastic; we’d expect nothing less from the crew of an animation studio.

The t-shirts are based on the famous Star Wars movie posters by Drew Struzan, most notable the original poster for A New Hope. As Brendon from Bleeding Cool pointed out, this Disney iteration shows the various Frozen characters in slightly different lights than we’ve seen them in the trailers or other promotional pieces.

For example, the Duke of Wessleton seems very sinister; Kristoff, Hans, and Anna appear to be our main trio; Sven and Olaf seem like harmless sidekicks; and what the Elsa? It looks as though she’s being bestowed powers from on high (or entering into the Avatar state). Also, the clock motif’s placement and size is reminiscent of the Death Star from the original poster (and is that Anna and Hans practicing Tai Chi?). We also get a glimpse at some trolls, who until recently have remained out of the marketing spotlight for the film.

All joking aside, this t-shirt is great and shows off how much fun this production crew had making this film. My next question is: where can I get my hands on one of these?
