Don’t they look incredible?

Yeah! The Incredibles! How can I describe that film, it is just so… incredible. (I just had to be cliché and say it.) We can rain so much praise on this film: intricate storyline, great animation, lots of action, but still lots of heart. I defy anyone who can find anything majorly wrong with this film.

But let’s face it, one of the biggest philosophical questions of the millennium is also addressed in this film…

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Pixar’s creativity never ceases to amaze and astonish us, so let’s do a rundown of some of the best superpowers addressed in this film (even if they were seen for only the briefest instant, Pixar is just that cool to have the most random but amazing superpowers thrown into their films) and we will also look at some of the powers that would have been cool to see as well.

5. Super Speed

I love this trick, pretty much because Dash is able to pull pranks on people without them noticing.

4. Energy blasts… From your eyes?!

Looking through a list of some of the superheroes only briefly mentioned or shown in this film, I saw that Gazerbeam was able to do this. Which would be pretty awesome. Just imagine… Sitting in class, you are getting bored, and then all of the sudden you make your desk explode… With your eyes. That would so much fun!

This cool superpower is a hidden gem!

3. Being the Weatherman!

Okay, I made that sound really lame. But Stormicide was able to create storms, and maybe it’s just me, but controlling the weather sounds pretty awesome!

2. Elsa Powers

Let’s face it, Frozone’s ability to turn things into ice was pretty darn cool (no pun intended.) Elsa would be proud of him.

Who knows? Maybe this cool dude will have a cameo in “Frozen.”

1. Human Weapon of Awesomeness

Who wouldn’t want to babysit this little bundle of warmth and happiness?

If you have never watched Jack-Jack Attack before, please do it, now. Jack-Jack here becomes pretty much the world’s most awesome baby here. He can burst into flames, go through walls, shape-shift, become bulletproof, and levitate. He might just have some of the world’s most awesome superpowers ever. Congrats Pixar, you have won for most creative superpower with this terrifying little child! You can see the short right here:

Now this list may leave you with two questions: Why did strength and the ability of flight not make this list?

I know, I know. Mr. Incredible is amazing. There is no denying that, and his power is awesome and totally helps everyone. My big thing is creativity. While strength is cool, some of these other powers just have more flair, don’t you think?

And besides my fear of heights, this little scene kind of drew me off of the idea of flying.

Honorable Mentions

And maybe it’s just me, but these powers would have been pretty cool to see, even if it were just for a second:

3. Ability To Speak to Animals

Because Eliza Thornberry would have been an awesome superhero…

Look at that face… I would totally trust her with saving the world from super villains.

2. Looking into The Future

Professor Trelawney could have totally predicted everything that was going to happen. Plus she would have made a great cameo as Dash’s teacher.

It’s like she is peering into the depths of your soul…

1. Shapeshifting

Okay, I don’t know if anyone else remembers Disney’s Sky High, but the kid that could turn to goo, and was wittily called “Popsicle,” he was pretty much the coolest “lame” hero that I have ever seen.

Because who wouldn’t want a puddle to save them from a bad guy about to blow their brains out?
