Just in time for Halloween, Sabrina the Teenage Witch will be getting a makeover for a new generation of fans!
The new animated TV series, Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch will bring back the ever-popular Sabrina (voiced by High School Musical and Phineas and Ferb‘s Ashley Tisdale), as she juggles life as a klutzy high school student and handling her new found magical powers as a teenage witch. Joining Sabrina are her aunts Hilda (voiced by Tabitha St. Germain from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) and Zelda (voiced by Erin Mathews from Kid vs. Kat) and of course, Salem the cat.
As a long time fan of both Sabrina The Teenage Witch (the live action 90s TV sitcom) and Sabrina: The Animated Series (the early 2000s animated series), I’m a little disappointed with the initial look of this new series. It looks like rather low quality CGI. Sure, it’s a TV show, but hey, it’s 2013 for crying out loud.
Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch will premiere Saturday, Oct. 12 at noon EST on the Hub Network.
