‘Shaun The Sheep’ To Star In Feature Film

Looks like everyone’s favorite claymation sheep- Shaun The Sheep- will soon become a movie star!

Aardman has announced that Shaun The Sheep- the popular animated series- will son be heading the the big screen. The film will be about Shaun and his farmyard friends who find themselves in the big city after their farmer gets taken away.

David Sproxton, executive chairman of Aardman, said: “Shaun and his friends have a massive global following and we are very excited about being able to put them into a bigger adventure for the big screen.”

Shaun The Sheep was first seen in the 1995 Wallace and Gromit film A Close Shave, and has since gained a massive global following thanks to the popular TV show Shaun The Sheep which is broadcast in more than 170 countries.

Knowing Aardman and their recent work (The Pirates! Band of Misfits), we can be assured that Shaun’s first big screen outing will be a memorable one.
