Disney-Wreck-It-Ralph-PosterThe Kids’ Choice Awards were tonight on Nickelodeon, and several animated films were honored with recognition (sans slime). Disney Animation’s Wreck-It Ralph won Favorite Animated Movie, while Adam Sandler won Favorite Voice in Animated Movie for his role as Dracula in Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania.

Sandler was awarded his orange Nickelodeon blimp (the award statue) by Jaden Smith and Miranda Cosgrove. Unfortunately, no one from Wreck-It Ralph was present to accept, so its award was brushed over quickly by presenters Zachary Gordon and Lucas Cruikshank among other no-show winners.

Other animation highlights of the telecast included new TV spots for Monsters University and Despicable Me 2, as well as a sneak peek of Blue Sky’s upcoming film Epic (though that last one did have slime, the victim of which included voice talent Josh Hutcherson).
