Here it is everyone! The trailer that you all have been waiting for: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.
No wonder everyone on Twitter has been anxiously waiting for this trailer–it’s great! The trailer sets up the basic premise of the films where inventor Flint and his fellow denizens of Swallow Falls return to the town after it had to be evacuated and cleaned up for a while. Upon returning, the town has been taken over by various food-animal hybrids (my favorite being shimpanzees, mosquitoast, and tacodile supreme). The film looks pretty funny and gives off a vibe of Attack of the Killer Tomatoes.
The film is a sequel to Sony Pictures Animation’s 2009 film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, which is based on the classic children’s storybook by Judi Barrett of the same name.
